Trimming & Removal
Trimming trees, especially deciduous trees, is important to do in an urban setting to prevent them from causing damage to themselves and to property, to help encourage proper structure, and to allow for necessary clearance around drive areas, sidewalks, and structures.
Trimming can also be useful to open up views or to allow more sunlight into a house or area. This type of trimming is called vista pruning.
Removals are a fact of life unfortunately. Not every tree is properly taken care of, or is planted too close to a structure or drive area, or dies for one reason or the other resulting in the need for a tree to be removed.
We are happy to help safely remove them with expert licensed and certified climbers. We take care to avoid damaging your property and move any and all things possible from the work area. We do free estimates for all of our services.
We provide consulting services to help provide answers and solutions for home owners, large land owners, and care takers of large commercial properties such as business parks and golf courses.
Home owners often have questions about a specific tree (such as a disease or pest issue), or just want to know more about what trees they have and how to care for them.
Large land owners often need a land management plan that is tailored towards their specific goals and desired land usage. Land management plans detail what should be done and when, accounting for such things as the growth rate of the various species of trees and plants, and the land owners annual operating budget.
Plant Health & Integrated Pest Management
Fire Blight, Mountain Pine Beetles, and Spider Mites are just some of the pests that threaten your trees. In addition to the numerous pests that can damage and/or kill your trees, there are several nutrient problems that arise due to our poor soil quality here in the Front Range of Colorado.
It is better to be proactive and not wait until there is a problem, but we can address problems after they arise too. Be aware of the specific threats to your trees and decide on an action plan to help mitigate these threats.
You can’t always see the problems in the trees. We provide extensive knowledge and experience to protect your trees and ensure healthy longevity.
